First and foremost a huge thank you to those that have sent well wishes, koha, kai, manaaki and aroha to our kindergarten staff, children and whānau. Every warm wish is helping, every moment taken out of your day to think of us is valued as we slowly rebuild and repair our community.
The April floods were devastating, there is no other word to describe this. What has grown from this devastation is the most amazing sense of community, of genuine connected manaaki of ourselves and one another and of aroha, resilience and a deeper connection to community.
Everyday is a gift – treat it as such!
