This week we had our Annual Christmas party at kindergarten. We hoped you all loved our real Christmas tree, we know our tamariki sure did as it added to building the suspense to our own Christmas party.
First, we sung Christmas songs to welcome Santa into our centre. Then, Santa gave out all of the individual gift bags for our tamariki, packed with a kindergarten t-shirt, a summer hat, two books, their own clay handprints and some party treats. It was great seeing the faces of our tamariki as they enjoyed the surprise of opening their gift bags and sharing their special day with whānau.
Our tamariki loved eating pizza, iceblocks and a special fizzy juice on our special day too. This is always such a great way to signify the end of the year. Thank you to all our whānau and friends that came to share in the Christmas spirit here at kindergarten.
