Arohanui Foodbank donation

Arohanui Foodbank donation

Kia ora whānau, mihi ki a koe to all who donated to the Tokoroa Foodbank. Rob Horne came to Arohanui Kindergarten from the Foodbank to pick up all of your wonderful donations. Rob said that your donations will really help the community of Tokoroa. There have been a lot more whānau who have needed assistance this year, so your kindness and generosity will help many.

It was beautiful to see so many tamariki helping Rob to load the bags and then the trolley so that he could take it away. Individual tamariki remembered items that had been gifted from their whānau and commented as they were packing the bags with a lot of pride. The tamariki all helped to push and pull the laden trolley up the hill, which was a huge effort.

Ka pai to everyone and thank you for all of the manaakitanga you have shown your community!
