Some great mahi has been going on at the art area recently.  There has been a variety of different art experiences – screen printing, easel painting, spin art and marble painting with tamariki busy exploring paint, shapes and colour.  There are lots of opportunities for revisiting over and over again.

In early childhood, we often tend to focus on the process rather than the product, as these skills and processes learned and developed will be carried forward in future learning.  There are always opportunities for collaboration and learning from each other – as well as tamariki sharing their expertise with their friends who were next up for a turn.
