Autumn adventures bring so much joy to ngā tamariki as they explore the natural world through both uninterrupted child led play and through intentional teaching opportunities delivered by passionate kaiako.

Our children love to potter in their gardens, and they also love to go on leaf hunts, create leaf prints, use leaves as paper and use herbs like rosemary and mint in their sensory play.

It’s been such a hot summer in Tairua and we are definitely enjoying some cooler autumn weather with an abundance of nature play and exploration.
