Central Kids Rewi Street Kindergarten in Te Awamutu recently celebrated the Lunar New Year.

We watched how the Lunar New Year is celebrated around the world.  We decorated our kindergarten with colourful lanterns and cherry blossom to celebrate the beginning of spring.  The children took turns at making music for the dragon to dance to.  We also got to taste dumplings and spring rolls for morning tea too.
