Hello, Kia ora, Namaste, Ni Hao, Suasdey to one and all,
I am delighted to begin a new learning journey for myself shared with children and families of Central Kids Rāwhiti Kindergarten.
I have been working with Central Kids for a number of years now and have held the role of both Head Teacher and Centre Manager, so bring a lot of experience to my new portfolio.
I live in Tauranga with my husband and we are proud parents to three adult children, and very recently to our first grandchild.
Beginning my new role as Head Teacher at Rāwhiti, is both exciting and daunting as I am well aware that Rāwhiti has been fortunate to have had a long standing Head Teacher in the past.
I am also aware of the excellent work this team has been doing. One thing that stood out for me regarding the community connected to this kindergarten is how close and involved parents, families and whānau are in their children’s learning.
Ehara taku toa I te toa takitahi, ēngari he toa takitini
So, I realise that my success is not mine alone, they are ours – the greatest success we will have is from working together.
I look forward to the opportunities that unfold with time, opportunities to get to know you and your child and new opportunities that unfold for their own learning journey.
