News for Central Kids Jackson Park

Last night at we celebrated Matariki.

Over the last three years we have had the same ritual, we provide a hāngī meal for our whānau, then we take a candle lit walk through the kindergarten to the fire pit where we toast marshmallows over the fire, and to finish off our night we gather again for some steamed pudding and custard.

Last night we had over 120 tamariki and whānau join us to celebrate this beautiful time of the year, Matariki.

"I am so proud to be part of such an amazing community and I was humbled by the huge turn out" Amy Chung | Head Teacher
