Central Kids Rāwhiti Kindergarten in Matamata has been a hive of activity recently with the attendance of our lovely local bee man, James Sainsbury.  There was a buzz of excitement as the children gathered to hear the most wonderful story about a rather inquisitive bumble bee.

To add to this wonderful learning experience, James very kindly brought some boxes containing baby bumble bees which the children were very eager to view. This offered the opportunity for some hands on learning as the children could take these out of the boxes to handle and observe a little closer.
 
Rāwhiti Kindergarten had the most wonderful aroma of honey wafting through the air when James removed the lids from the boxes, what a wonderful time we had, thank you James!
