At Central Kids Clyde Street in Tokoroa we had a fabulous whānau evening.
We came together to eat, sing, dance and be together. Whānau said it was like a “Christmas Dinner”, it was relaxed, enjoyable and entertaining – a great chance for all our families to spend time together.
We had a kōrero about our gardens and our plans to involve whānau throughout the year. Preparing our whenua for veges, fruit and flowers. Together we will meet again on the 21st March to watch the Big Moon – and to celebrate our progress as whānau with our gardens. Whānau are taking time to weed, discover, enjoy and enhance our kindergarten.
We are excited about Matariki, when we will gather again to learn together about Matariki within our Raukawa Rohe.
