Term 1 saw Central Kids Paraone in Taumarunui implementing Kids Can Kai and what a success!! We are so proud of our tamariki for giving it a go, sitting together, trying new foods or re-visiting foods they may not have liked in the past, some even had seconds – yum yum! All in all a great team effort.
Any excess kai has been sent home with whānau. Thank you to those who have come in and volunteered their services to support this initiative. This term we are starting to get a bit more creative including baking and new recipes using the kai provided.
