Laughton’s Annual Ironman Event

Laughton’s Annual Ironman Event

Central Kids Laughton in Taupō recently held their Annual Ironman Event this month.

Our tamariki took part in training sessions to get prepared for race day, and we were also lucky enough to have a special visit from one of our Dad’s Nick, who is participating in the Ironman for his first time this year – Good Luck Nick!

Our race started with a run around the reserve, then the children got onto their bikes and did laps around the bike track, they then finished with a tricky obstacle course and then down the finishers shoot!

What a great day had by all, our children were cheered on by their whānau, and then celebrated afterwards with a medal at our prize giving ceremony.

A special thanks to Four Square Foodworld for donating delicious ice-blocks for after the big race.
