Looking after Papatūānuku

Looking after Papatūānuku

At Central Kids Balmoral Kindergarten, we value sustainability and looking after Papatūānuku.

One way we uphold this, is our worm farm.  Each week, we feed the worms, which the worms break down into castings and ‘worm tea’.  We recently put some of the castings into our gardens, ready to grow rich vegetables available for our tamariki and their whānau to enjoy.

An awesome opportunity for our tamariki to learn to care and nurture our environment.
