Magical Mandala art at Central Kids Ōpōtiki

Magical Mandala art at Central Kids Ōpōtiki

Creating mandala is a delightful, beautiful, and easy activity which you can do almost anywhere and at anytime.  All you need is a small collection of materials that can be structured in random ways, whilst building creative, unique patterns.  No mandala is the same – and neither are our tamariki.  Our tamariki have really taken to this art form and we have been privileged to see some outstanding creations – it’s incredible how all tamariki are inspired by nature and what they see in their world, and that this is replicated through mandala art!

Getting Creative | Building Patterns | Being Unique

Have a go at home creating your own Mandala art at the beach, at the park – literally anywhere where your tamariki can find natural resources like shells, stones bark – even pegs at the clothesline can make wonderful mandala patterns.
