Central Kids Helen Downer value relationships with whānau. Recently we learnt how to make roti. The children enjoyed making the mixture and rolling it out. But we think the best part was definately eating it.
Apart from strengthening our relationships with whānau, activities such as these, support mathematical concepts such as measuring, weight, shapes, volume and length.
It is also a great way to learn about different cultures, their values, and their way of being.
