Kindergarten is a word derived from the German language.  Kinder meaning children and garten means garden.

Our philosophy here at Central Kids Mercury Bay Kindergarten is to create a space for all tamariki that is truly a beautiful space… a children’s garden!  A space where tamariki will experience a strong sense of belonging, be able to play, learn, grow and thrive in an environment that has been designed especially for them, and is filled with aroha.

We dance, sing, explore, balance, go on exciting bear hunts, dig, create, have fun with messy play and water, engage in stories, make friends, learn about empathy and kindness, and so much more every day here at Mercury Bay Kindergarten.
