Central Kids Kindergartens in Rotorua have connected with Keiutu Community Preschool in Fua’amotu village, Tonga.

With our teacher aide, Naomi from Central Kids Fordlands who comes from Fua’amotu, we were able to connect and see what the families needed.

Amongst the Central Kids Kindergartens in Rotorua, we fundraised $440 which we used to purchase non-perishable foods and make up 30 bags for each family. Countdown Fenton Street also donated goods to make up hygiene bags.

Non-perishable food was donated and this was given to the Rotorua Tongan Community for families to top up their drum that was being sent to family. The container is making its way to Tonga this week.
