Science & Discovery at Homedale

Science & Discovery at Homedale

Our new science/discovery area has been a very engaging place to play and explore at Central Kids Homedale in Rotorua. Tamariki are enjoying using our new light table – lots of discoveries are being made exploring light and shadows.

There are lots of small discovery resources for exploration as well. Tamariki are busy investigating how the magnets work and how objects interact. There are a variety of everyday metal objects as well as non-metal objects to attract and repel – it is all about being curious!!

Just recently a Praying Mantis crawled up the leg of the science table and we were able to use one of the bug viewers to care for it and study it for jus a short while before returning it outside the garden.
