Staying in touch during lockdown

Staying in touch during lockdown

During Levels 3 & 4, kaiako at Central Kids Dinsdale ELC kept in touch with their whānau through Storypark. Several of their families posted photos and videos of their tamariki playing and helping out at home, and the teachers shared stories and waiata online.

When the level dropped from Level 4 to 3, most of the staff returned to the centre to work with children whose parents are essential workers. Laura continued to work with the remaining families online through Storypark and Zoom meetings.
