NZSL Week | 9th – 15th May 2022
New Zealand Sign Language is an official and unique language of New Zealand. It is the language of New Zealand’s Deaf community.
Like other sign languages, NZSL uses the hands, the body and facial expressions (including lip patterns) to express meaning.
Lily is becoming an expert of Makaton sign, which utilises the sign along with the spoken word.
