Teddy Bears Picnic at Rāwhiti
If you go down in the woods today
You’re sure of a big surprise
If you go down in the woods today
You’d better go in disguise!
For every bear that ever there was
Will gather there for certain
Because today’s the day the
Teddy Bears have their picnic
There were many Teddy Bears having a picnic at Rāwhiti, and what an adventure it was! Tamariki and Kaiako joined in their pjamas for a picnic on the lawn. Parents and whanau came together to share kai and the events. At the end of the day, all of our teddy bears went home with VERY full pukus!
With all of our events at Rāwhiti, we ensure that we are inclusive of our working whanau, so there is no set time to visit. Just as our rolling kai, we have rolling visits. This model of inclusiveness has been very successful and there is much to be gained by sharing our day with whanau.
