This month at Central Kids Owhata Kindergarten in Rotorua, we have been busy creating eco-warriors. Recycling, is an everyday practice at Owhata Kindergarten. We have shown our tamariki short videos about the effects that plastic/waste is doing to our environment.
To help Papatūānuku, we decided to make ‘bees wax wraps’. It was a simple process, pre-cut material, grate the bees wax and coconut oil. Then iron out the wax to melt, then you have a wrap to use again and again.
Less waste, more space on earth for our eco-warriors!
