We recently held a wonderful whānau night to celebrate the end of the year. Families bought salads and dessert to share, while the centre provided sausages and bread.
Santa made an appearance with a gift of story books in Te Reo and English to give to every centre child. This was funded through the Ministry of Education Targeted Funding that our centre received this year. We aim to have at least two evening events per year, so parents and siblings can visit the centre with their child and have a chance to have a kōrero with teachers and each other in a relaxed setting.
The teaching team would like to thank all our families for their support over this challenging year with the event of COVID-19 and all the restrictions it placed on us. We look forward to a positive 2021, Kim Jones our manager will return, the rest of the team will be back again with Zoe Tidman our fixed term reliever also joining the team again until April.
We wish everyone a fabulous Christmas and summer holiday and look forward to seeing you all on Monday, 11th January 2021. Arohanui from the team at Central Kids Taumarunui.
