Central Kids has 48 kindergartens in 27 towns across the central North Island, with a range of opening hours depending on the needs of the community they serve. Some are all ages kindergartens, enrolling tamariki from 0-6 years of age.

Building connections for strong whānau foundations
Mātauranga Ake is the Central Kids social support team. The team provides free wrap around support and guidance for whānau, because we believe building strong foundations for whānau is key to giving tamariki the best start in life.
A friendly and vibrant place
"I highly recommend Paeroa Kindergarten! It has wonderful kind teachers, fabulous resources and lovely natural outdoor space to explore. It’s very handy just below Primrose Hill, which has lots of activity, often cows grazing on the hill, lots of people walking their dogs and biking around. So plenty of things for children to look at and watch. It’s a friendly and vibrant place and fabulous for this community. I would suggest going to visit and I’m sure you will be delighted."
