Minimum enrolment
We require tamariki to enrol for a minimum of six hours a day, three days a week (18 hours a week).
Our trained kaiako will support your tamariki to transition from home to our kindergarten, being mindful of their needs. You're welcome to stay, enjoy a cuppa and meet our friendly team while your tamariki have fun with friends.
Government entitlements and subsidies
When you enrol your tamariki at one of our centres, we will support you to access government entitlements and subsidies.
- Ministry of Education 20 Hours ECE for all tamariki aged three and over.
- WINZ Childcare Subsidy for all eligible tamariki.
- FamilyBoost childcare payment for all eligible households.
Hourly rate
We believe that quality education should be something every tamaiti can experience, and provide flexible financial and accessibility options to help remove any barriers for our whānau to achieve this.
- Check our kindergarten directory for hourly rates.
- Hourly rates are charged for any hours your tamariki are enrolled for, that are not paid for by Ministry of Education 20 Hours ECE funding.
- If you are eligible for a WINZ Childcare Subsidy, this reduces the amount you need to pay.
- No fees are charged for public holidays or closure days.
Central Kids support
In some circumstances Central Kids may offer additional financial support to reduce the fees whānau pay after government entitlements and subsidies have been applied.
As a non-profit organisation we re-invest our funds to help our whānau and ensure as many tamariki as possible have the opportunity to attend kindergarten.
Whānau who would benefit from extra assistance are also offered support and guidance from our Mātauranga Ake team, towards achieving a resilient, stable and supportive home life for tamariki.
