KAIWHAKAAKO | HEAD TEACHER/CENTRE MANAGER
Central Kids employs fully registered, ECE educators with at least 5 years, recent practical experience within the early childhood sector for all Head Teacher and Centre Manager positions in kindergartens and early learning centres.
Successful applicants will be fully conversant with current ECE theory and practice and possess proven leadership skills and experience.

Administrators are the face of our early learning environments and play an integral part in the day-to-day operations of our services. Administration responsibilities include operation and accurate record keeping within our child administration software, preparing payroll timesheets, invoices and other general administrative tasks as required.

KAIAKO TAUTĀWHI | TEACHER AIDE VACANCIES
Our support staff play key roles in enabling Central Kids to ensure positive outcomes for all tamariki attending our services.
The key responsibilities of this role are to support the teaching team working alongside tamariki and with the maintenance of resources and the learning environment.
MĀTAURANGA AKE VACANCIES
Mātauranga Ake Navigation Service was established in 2020 in the Bay of Plenty and South Waikato to provide wrap around support services for whānau in emergency housing.
Our Tamariki Navigators strive to determine appropriate wellbeing and educational needs for tamariki including wellbeing checks and supports.
The purpose of our Whānau Navigators is to provide support and assistance to whānau and tamariki who are currently in emergency housing. Whānau Navigators support clients with housing readiness, wellbeing coaching, budgeting and employment readiness.
RELIEVING VACANCIES
Central Kids employs relieving teachers to cover for permanent staff members on a day to day or short term relieving basis within the Central North Island. Relieving offers you the flexibility to work when it suits you best.
Qualified relievers must hold the equivalent of a Diploma of Teaching ECE and a current practicing certificate. Qualified relievers must hold registration in order to be eligible for coverage under the terms and conditions of the Kindergarten Teachers, Head Teachers and Senior Teacher Collective Agreement.
Unqualified relievers must undergo a police vet check and provide verbal or written references prior to acceptance and commencement of relieving.
All applicants must be entitled to work in New Zealand to be eligible to apply.
