Apanui Kindergarten

Apanui Kindergarten is located in the sunny Bay of Plenty, a great place to live! We understand what an important decision it is choosing the right early childhood education for your tamaiti.

At Apanui Kindergarten there is lots of room for your tamaiti to explore and learn through play at their own pace. Your tamaiti can follow their interests and be guided by our team of highly qualified and talented kaiako to support their potential. Each team member brings individual skills and strengths which complement the individual learning skills and styles of every tamaiti.

We are trained in the Incredible Years programme, Oral Language and Literacy Initiative, Hanen programme and participate in the Whakatāne Kāhui Ako to support positive learning pathways for tamariki.

Positive relationships and working partnerships are key to our approach. Our warm caring environment will embrace and value your tamaiti. We provide lots of hands on learning experience and opportunities for tamariki to explore and have fun.

We also have two resident rabbits that play a valuable part in our programme, teaching tamariki about caring for the living world while hopping happily amongst the tamariki at play.
