At Fordlands Kindergarten we value mana atua (wellbeing) and believe every tamaiti should feel cherished and loved.
We value the special characteristics that each tamaiti brings with them, and we hold dear the principle of mana whenua (belonging). We believe every tamaiti should know that this is their place. They have a voice and they have rights.
We practice manaakitanga. We strive to ensure that all whānau know that they are welcome and feel respected. We believe in honest, authentic partnerships with tamariki and their whānau.
Our whānau have told us that among the many aspirations they have for their tamariki, the traits they value the most are love, fun, happiness, confidence, success, play, whānau, sports, caring, independence and leadership.
