We value diversity and welcome all tamariki from two to six years of age. Each tamaiti is paired with a key kaiako (teacher) to support their transition into kindergarten.
Our extensive grounds allow tamariki to lose themselves in their play, to challenge themselves, take risks and gain confidence. We have loose parts, water play, climbing boxes, swings, a slide, mudpit, whare taakaro and a big sandpit with a water feature. We border Matamata College, and from our side gate tamariki can watch trains go past.
We have an interactive bird aviary, a fish tank and worm farm which provide opportunities for tamariki to learn about, and how to care for, a range of birds and animals. We encourage tamariki to be curious and kind with all living things.
We are part of the Enviroschools programme and have received our silver certificate. This links with the value we place on te ao Māori and respect for Papatūānuku.
Nau mai haere mai, we welcome you to visit us any time.

"My son attends Mill Crescent Kindergarten and we absolutely love it here. The teachers are friendly and attentive. The outdoor space is large with lots of areas of play! My son loves attending this kindergarten and I would highly recommend checking out this centre if you are looking for somewhere special to send your kids."
