As kaiako we value the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and provide a positive culture that is role modelled in all areas of our practice. We have a strong focus on te ao Māori and this is woven through everything we do. We have a special connection with Ōwhata Marae and value strong relationships with our tamariki, whānau and hāpori.
We strive to ensure our environment fosters a sense of belonging and wellbeing so that all tamariki can engage confidently within our programme.
Our kindergarten philosophy is that tamariki learn through play, which supports social and emotional competence. We foster interpersonal relationships and support and guide tamariki to help each other, teach each other and learn from each other.
By respecting and valuing all that tamariki and their whānau bring with them, our kaiako build positive and reciprocal relationships. These strong relationships are at the heart of what makes our kindergarten unique.
Nau mai haere mai, come for a visit any time, we’d love to meet you and talk about what we can offer.
