We are a small kindergarten located in the Raukawa iwi area, in the beautiful town of Putaruru.
At Central Kids Glenshea we encourage and support our tamariki, whānau and kaiako/teachers to learn in A tōna wā/In their own time.
We have an inviting, well-resourced environment to encourage child-initiated play. Our passion is to support our tamariki to problem solve for themselves and with their peers. Whānau are able to access a neutral, friendly environment, where they feel comfortable to stay with their child, meet other parents and talk with kaiako/teachers.
Majority of our whānau hear about us from the wider community. We pride ourselves on the reputation we hold within Putaruru. We also offer a unique experience of Kōhanga Ngahere, where our 8 eldest tamariki go out into the bush (Jim Barnett Reserve) each week to climb higher, explore, imagine, observe, listen, be resilient, wonder why, get messy, test boundaries, take responsible risks, make new friendships and learn to respect Papatūānuku.
Our door is always open, come in and see us anytime.
