Mercury Bay Kindergarten

Mercury Bay Kindergarten

Mercury Bay Kindergarten is situated 200 metres from Buffalo Beach in Whitianga, the historical site of the sinking of the HMS Buffalo. Our area has strong historical links to Kupe and Captain Cook.

Staff are friendly, mature and consistent, and the kindergarten has a warm, welcoming and homely atmosphere. Our outdoor space is a beautiful and large area with plenty of room for tamariki to run, explore and play. There is a large vegetable/herb/fruit garden from which we gather a variety of produce which is either eaten at kindergarten, or shared with whānau.

Weekly visits to the local rest home and ‘beach kindy” are a regular and integral part of our programme.

We are very proud of our kindergarten and invite you to come and visit any time. Our doors are always open and kettle is hot.
