Owhata Kindergarten

Owhata Kindergarten

Central Kids Owhata provides opportunities for tamariki to engage in learning through planned and spontaneous play alongside their peers and kaiako. Kaiako support tamariki, recognising their current interests, providing appropriate resources and learning opportunities based on the early childhood curriculum, Te Whāriki.

We acknowledge the bi-cultural partnerships of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.  This is reflected through the use of te reo and tikanga Māori within our programme.

Parents/whānau are valued and respected as the first carers of their tamariki and warm, reciprocal relationships help to provide strong, stable, foundations for learning, enabling tamariki to develop the skills that prepare them for school and life.

Our door is always open, we welcome you to visit us anytime.
