At Central Kids Paeroa, we believe children learn through play – by doing, by asking questions, by interacting with others, by problem solving and by the purposeful use of quality resources within a safe, fun and stimulating environment.
Visits to Ngahere (Bush) provide opportunity for children to explore the wonders of nature, make new discoveries, develop their physical skills, exercise their imagination and connect with Papatuanuku (Mother Earth).
Our programme provides an inclusive learning environment allowing opportunities for children to interact with family/whānau, friends, community groups and services. Each child will have the opportunity to take responsibility for their own learning by participating in activities that interest them. They will have the freedom to create and act on their own ideas, develop knowledge and practice new skills.
Te Ao Māori is woven throughout the curriculum. Tikanga rituals, protocols, and te reo are embraced and practiced in the programme.
At Central Kids Paeroa children are supported through early literacy foundations and mathematics in a context that is familiar and meaningful to them. We encourage healthy eating and physical exercise. We believe this is paramount to promote growth and development, and support optimum learning.
Come and experience our wonderful learning environment for yourself.
