Manaakitanga
It is important to us that people feel they belong and enjoy their time at Rewi Street Kindergarten and we encourage fun and laughter throughout the day.
Rangatiratanga
Leadership and responsibility are shared amongst everyone in our learning community. Tamariki are trusted to lead their own learning, to take risks and to follow their strengths and interests.
Kaitiakitanga
As a community of learners we encourage and support each other to learn skills which empower tamariki to develop social competence along with problem solving skills within a safe environment. Learning experiences in the natural environment strengthen our relationships with Papatūānuku and develop our ecological identity. Together, we are creating a māra kai (edible garden) to share with whānau.
