Central Kids Kindergartens – Tairua is your local kindergarten which provides for all children from 2 – 6 years of age in a mixed group setting, with access to both indoor and outdoor areas.

Teaching and learning occurs through play in our well-resourced environment.  The curriculum consists of planned, spontaneous, and child-led learning opportunities provoked and scaffolded by experienced, fully qualified teachers.

Resilience and a growth mindset is fostered through opportunities to be resourceful, try things out, support each other, express ideas, explore risk, practise regulating our emotions, and to be persistent.

Children engage in regular out-of-kindergarten learning experiences within our local community connected to our unique coastal landscape.
