Our kindergarten has a strong bicultural ethos, embellished under Tūwharetoatanga, and we implement practices and values derived from our kaumātua (elders). We have a huge indoor/outdoor environment that encourages tamariki to explore, and take risks whilst being guided by qualified and experienced kaiako.
Our kindergarten is proud to sit under the mana of Ngāti Tūwharetoa. We honour this connection by weaving te ao Māori throughout our daily practice, ensuring tamariki and whānau experience learning that is grounded in rich culture, traditions and stories of the whenua we stand upon.
Our commitment is to develop confident, capable, social tamariki who extend on prior learning and enjoy new learning. Tamariki explore and extend themselves mentally and physically – attributes that are essential for school and in life.
We welcome and encourage new and prospective whānau to come in and see what we offer.
Nau mai haere mai, come in for a kōrero. We’d love to meet you and talk about what our service has to offer.
